Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 and 1/2 cups finely chopped apples
1/3 cup brown sugar (for swirl)
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for swirl)
1/2 cup all-purpose flour (for streusel)
1/3 cup brown sugar (for streusel)

1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened (for streusel)
1/2 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
1–2 tablespoons milk or cream (for glaze)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
3. In another bowl, beat eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla until smooth.
4. Mix wet ingredients into the dry until just combined. Gently fold in chopped apples.
5. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon for the swirl.
6. In another bowl, make the streusel by mixing flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and softened butter until crumbly.
7. Pour half of the batter into the loaf pan, sprinkle the swirl mixture, then add the remaining batter. Top with streusel.
8. Bake for 50–60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool 10 minutes in the pan.
9. Mix powdered sugar with milk or cream for glaze. Drizzle over cooled bread before serving.
Notes
For more texture, add 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts into the batter.
Store unglazed bread in the freezer for up to 3 months; thaw and glaze before serving.
