If you’re always looking for a quick breakfast or healthy snack to serve with coffee, these Nutella-stuffed treats are the ultimate indulgence that still feel surprisingly light.

Ingredients

1 cup whole milk

2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast

2 tablespoons granulated sugar

2 large eggs

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

1/2 teaspoon salt

3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

3/4 cup Nutella

1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

1. Warm the milk and combine it with yeast and sugar in a bowl. Let it sit until foamy.

2. Whisk in the eggs, melted butter, and salt.

3. Slowly add the flour and mix until a dough forms. Knead until smooth and elastic.

4. Let the dough rise in a greased bowl, covered, for 1 to 1.5 hours until doubled.

5. Punch down the dough and divide into 12 equal pieces.

6. Flatten each dough piece and spoon Nutella into the center.

7. Fold and pinch the dough to seal, forming a ball.

8. Place seam-side down on a baking sheet and let rise again for 30-40 minutes.

9. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 18–20 minutes until golden.

10. Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

Make sure to seal the edges well to avoid Nutella leaking while baking.

Use a spoon dipped in warm water to handle Nutella easily without sticking.
