Ingredients
1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
8 oz lo mein noodles
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp dark soy sauce
1 1/2 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp ginger, grated
1/2 cup carrots, julienned
1/2 cup bell peppers, sliced
1/2 cup snow peas
1/4 cup green onions, chopped
1 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp water
1 tbsp vegetable oil for stir-frying
Instructions
1. Combine soy sauce, cornstarch, garlic, and sesame oil. Add beef and marinate 10–15 minutes.
2. Cook noodles according to package. Drain and toss with a little sesame oil.
3. Heat oil in a wok. Sear beef until browned. Remove and set aside.
4. Stir-fry carrots, bell peppers, and snow peas 2–3 minutes.
5. Add noodles, beef, hoisin, dark soy sauce, and green onions. Toss to coat.
6. Drizzle with extra sesame oil, adjust seasoning, and serve hot.
