Ingredients
12 oz egg noodles
1 lb ground beef
1 medium yellow onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
15 oz tomato sauce
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp Italian seasoning
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. Cook egg noodles according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
3. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onions until beef is browned and onions are soft. Drain excess fat.
4. Stir in garlic, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5–10 minutes.
5. Combine beef mixture with cooked noodles in a large bowl.
6. Transfer mixture to prepared baking dish and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
7. Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
8. Garnish with parsley if desired and serve hot.
