Ingredients

2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp unsalted butter

8 oz mushrooms, sliced (baby bella or white button)

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup chicken broth

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Fresh chopped parsley (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter. Add mushrooms and cook until browned, about 6–8 minutes. Add garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes.
  4. Pour in chicken broth, scraping up browned bits. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  5. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning. Simmer until thickened.
  6. Return chicken to skillet. Spoon sauce over top and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve hot over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.
