Ingredients

12 oz linguine pasta

1 lb sirloin steak (or flank steak), thinly sliced

3 tbsp butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1.5 tbsp Cajun seasoning

1 tsp paprika

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

1 tbsp olive oil

0.5 tsp salt

0.25 tsp black pepper

Instructions

1. Cook linguine in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water and drain.

2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sear the seasoned beef strips for 2–3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

3. In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.

4. Pour in cream, Cajun seasoning, paprika, and reserved pasta water. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until thickened.

5. Add cooked linguine to the sauce and toss well. Stir in half of the parsley.

6. Return beef strips to the skillet and warm through for 1–2 minutes.

7. Garnish with remaining parsley and serve hot.

Notes

For extra creaminess, add a tablespoon of cream cheese to the sauce.

Always slice your steak against the grain for the most tender bites.
