Ingredients
2 ribeye or sirloin steaks
1.5 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
2 garlic cloves, minced
10 oz cheese tortellini
1 cup heavy cream
0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 oz cream cheese (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp chopped parsley
Instructions
1. Bring steak to room temp and season both sides with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
2. Heat olive oil in skillet, sear steak 3–4 minutes per side.
3. Add butter and garlic in final minute, baste steak. Remove and rest.
4. Boil tortellini in salted water, then drain.
5. In same skillet, pour in cream, add Parmesan and cream cheese. Stir until smooth.
6. Toss tortellini into sauce. Add a splash of pasta water if needed.
7. Slice steak against the grain. Plate next to cheesy tortellini.
8. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
Notes
Let steak rest 5 minutes after cooking to keep it juicy.
Add a little pasta water to thin out the Alfredo if it gets too thick.
