Ingredients

1 can of crescent roll dough (8-count)

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)

1 tablespoon powdered sugar (for dusting)

1 egg (for egg wash)

Pinch of salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, lemon juice, and salt in a bowl until smooth.
  3. Unroll crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles.
  4. Place a spoonful of filling on the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll up and seal the edges gently.
  6. Brush with beaten egg.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let cool for 5 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar.
