Ingredients

1 lb sirloin steak, cut into cubes

12 oz linguine pasta

4 garlic cloves, minced

3 tbsp butter

1 tbsp olive oil

1 cup heavy cream

0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese

0.5 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 tsp garlic powder

0.5 tsp salt

0.5 tsp black pepper

0.25 cup reserved pasta water

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

1. Boil linguine in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1/4 cup of pasta water, drain, and set aside.

2. Season steak cubes with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

3. Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.

4. Add steak and sear until golden and cooked to your preference. Remove and tent with foil.

5. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter. Sauté garlic until fragrant.

6. Add heavy cream, bring to a gentle simmer, then stir in both cheeses until smooth.

7. Toss cooked pasta into sauce, loosening with reserved water if needed.

8. Top with steak bites, garnish with parsley, and serve hot.

Notes

Bring steak to room temperature before cooking for even searing.

Use freshly grated Parmesan for a smoother, creamier finish.
