Great for holiday breakfast ideas, dinner desserts, or simply as a cozy winter sweet.

Ingredients

200g white chocolate bars

150ml sweetened condensed milk

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

50g dried cranberries, chopped

40g shelled pistachios, chopped

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

50g powdered sugar (for coating)

Instructions

1. Break white chocolate bars into pieces and melt with butter using a double boiler or microwave in short bursts. Stir until smooth.

2. Add sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract, stirring gently until well combined and thickened.

3. Remove from heat, fold in chopped cranberries and pistachios. Let cool, then refrigerate mixture for 2 hours.

4. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions, roll into balls quickly using your hands.

5. Roll truffles in powdered sugar to coat.

6. Place on parchment-lined tray and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

Chill the mixture well before rolling to make shaping easier.

For variety, swap pistachios with pecans or almonds and cranberries with dried cherries.
