Ingredients

6 slices day-old brioche or challah bread, cubed

3 large eggs

1/2 cup whole milk

1/4 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 tsp pure vanilla extract

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 tsp salt

2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

Cinnamon sugar topping: mix 1/4 cup sugar with 1 tsp cinnamon


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
  2. In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, cream, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Toss in the cubed bread and let soak for 5 minutes.
