Description

Comforting Crack Chicken Pasta is the kind of creamy, cheesy dinner that instantly earns a spot in your regular meal rotation. Tender chicken, crispy bacon, ranch seasoning, cream cheese, and cheddar come together with pasta for an easy dinner that feels rich, cozy, and completely satisfying. It is perfect for busy weeknights, comfort food cravings, family dinner ideas, and anyone looking for an easy recipe packed with flavor. This creamy chicken pasta is one of those simple food ideas that tastes like a restaurant-style meal without the extra fuss.

Ingredients

12 ounces penne pasta

2 large chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

8 slices bacon, cooked and chopped

2 tablespoons butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup chicken broth

1 packet ranch seasoning mix

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the penne pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. In a large skillet, cook the bacon until crisp. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate, then chop once cooled.

3. Season the chicken pieces with salt and black pepper.

4. In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and cook the chicken until golden and fully cooked through.

5. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

6. Stir in the chicken broth, heavy cream, softened cream cheese, and ranch seasoning mix. Stir until smooth and creamy.

7. Add the shredded cheddar cheese gradually, stirring until fully melted into the sauce.

8. Add the cooked pasta and most of the chopped bacon to the skillet. Toss until everything is evenly coated.

9. Let it simmer for 1 to 2 minutes until hot and well combined.

10. Top with the remaining bacon and chopped parsley, then serve warm.

Notes

Do not boil the sauce after adding the cheese and cream cheese, or it can turn grainy instead of staying smooth and creamy.
