Ingredients

12 oz linguine pasta

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed

Salt and black pepper, to taste

2 tbsp olive oil

4 tbsp unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp Dijon mustard

1 tbsp lemon juice

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to heat preference)

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1/4 cup fresh chopped parsley

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to boil and cook linguine until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, drain, and set aside.
  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook chicken in olive oil until golden and fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, and Italian seasoning. Cook 1-2 minutes.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Add Parmesan cheese and mix until smooth.
  5. Return chicken to the skillet. Add cooked linguine and toss to coat. Use reserved pasta water to adjust sauce consistency if needed.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley. Serve hot with extra cheese or garlic bread if desired.
