Ingredients
12 oz linguine pasta
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
Salt and black pepper, to taste
2 tbsp olive oil
4 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to heat preference)
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/4 cup fresh chopped parsley
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Bring a pot of salted water to boil and cook linguine until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, drain, and set aside.
- Season chicken with salt and pepper. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook chicken in olive oil until golden and fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, and Italian seasoning. Cook 1-2 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Add Parmesan cheese and mix until smooth.
