Golden, cheesy, and ridiculously satisfying—this Crazy Good Chicken Pasta Casserole is your next go-to comfort food. Bursting with tender chicken, creamy tomato sauce, and perfectly baked pasta, this dish is everything you love about home-cooked meals in one bubbly, irresistible casserole.


Ingredients

3 cups cooked rotini pasta

2 cups shredded cooked chicken (rotisserie is perfect)

1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup grated parmesan cheese

1 ½ cups marinara or tomato sauce

½ cup heavy cream or half-and-half

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp Italian seasoning

¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

¼ cup seasoned breadcrumbs (optional)

1 tbsp olive oil or melted butter (for breadcrumbs)


Instructions

  1. reheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the pasta until al dente, drain, and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, mix marinara, cream, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add pasta, chicken, and half the cheeses. Mix until well coated.
  5. Pour into a greased 9×13-inch casserole dish.
  6. Top with remaining cheeses.
  7. Combine breadcrumbs with oil or butter, and sprinkle on top.
  8. Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  9. (Optional) Broil for 2–3 minutes for a crispier top.
  10. Rest for 5 minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve hot.
