Ingredients

200g ribeye steak

250g penne pasta

3 tablespoons butter

1 cup heavy cream

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 cup reserved pasta water

Instructions

1. Season steak with Cajun seasoning and salt. Heat skillet over medium-high and sear steak 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and rest.

2. Cook penne pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water and drain.

3. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter and garlic, sauté until fragrant.

4. Stir in Cajun seasoning, paprika, and pour in heavy cream. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.

5. Add Parmesan cheese and reserved pasta water. Stir until smooth.

6. Toss in cooked pasta and combine until evenly coated.

7. Slice rested steak and place on top of pasta. Garnish with parsley and a sprinkle of Cajun seasoning.

8. Serve warm and enjoy creamy, spicy deliciousness.

Notes

Use a well-marbled cut like ribeye for ultimate tenderness and flavor.

To adjust heat, reduce Cajun seasoning or opt for a mild blend.
