Ingredients

2 chicken breasts

8 oz linguine pasta

1.5 tbsp Cajun seasoning

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp butter

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 cup heavy cream

4 oz cream cheese

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tbsp chopped parsley

0.25 cup diced red bell pepper (optional)


Instructions

1. Season chicken with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Sear in olive oil over medium heat until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.

2. Cook linguine in salted water until al dente. Drain and reserve some pasta water.

3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.

4. Pour in heavy cream, stir in cream cheese until smooth, then add shredded cheddar.

5. Add the cooked linguine and toss to coat in sauce. Add pasta water to loosen if needed.

6. Return chicken to the skillet and mix with the pasta. Heat through.

7. Garnish with chopped parsley and diced red pepper. Serve immediately.

Notes

Sear the chicken in a hot pan to lock in flavor and create crispy edges.

If your sauce thickens too much, add more pasta water or a splash of cream while tossing.
