  • 1/2 cup chicken broth (adds depth to the sauce)

  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme (or 1 teaspoon dried thyme)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Season the Chicken: Generously season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides. Let the chicken sit for a few minutes to absorb the seasoning.

  • Sear the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken breasts and sear them for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from the pan and set aside.

  • Make the Garlic Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat and sauté the garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Add chicken broth and let it simmer for 3-4 minutes.
