Ingredients

1 (16-ounce) container of sour cream

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled

1 packet (1 ounce) ranch seasoning mix

1/2 cup chopped green onions

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon hot sauce (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cook and prepare the bacon – Cook bacon until crispy, drain on a paper towel, and crumble into small pieces.
  2. Mix the base ingredients – In a large mixing bowl, combine sour cream, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir well.
  3. Add cheese and bacon – Fold in shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon until evenly combined.
  4. Incorporate the green onions – Stir in chopped green onions, reserving some for garnish.
  5. Chill the dip – Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour to let flavors meld.
