400g spaghetti

500g ground Italian beef

Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook spaghetti until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.

2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground Italian beef and cook until browned.

3. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the beef. Cook until fragrant and soft, about 2–3 minutes.

4. Stir in tomato paste and cook for another minute.

5. Add crushed tomatoes and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 10–15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
