Ingredients

1.5 to 2 pounds cube steak

1 packet onion soup mix

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

1/2 cup water or beef broth

1 small onion, thinly sliced (optional)

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Spray the inside of your slow cooker with non-stick spray or use a liner.
  2. Layer sliced onions on the bottom (optional).
  3. Place cube steak evenly across the bottom.
  4. In a bowl, mix the mushroom soup, chicken soup, water/broth, onion soup mix, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
  5. Pour the gravy mix over the steak.
  6. Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 4–5 hours.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with parsley. Spoon gravy generously over meat and your choice of sides.
