680g boneless skinless chicken thighs

240ml pineapple juice

120g brown sugar

120ml soy sauce

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)


Instructions

1. Place chicken thighs in the bottom of your crockpot.

2. In a bowl, whisk pineapple juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, and minced garlic.

3. Pour sauce over chicken and cover.

4. Cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until chicken is fork-tender.

5. Optional: remove chicken and whisk in cornstarch to thicken sauce. Cook uncovered on HIGH for 15–20 minutes.

6. Return chicken to sauce and stir to coat.

7. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
