Ingredients
1 package instant vanilla pudding mix (3.4 ounces)
2 cups cold milk
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 bananas sliced
36 vanilla wafer cookies
2 cups whipped topping
1/4 cup crushed vanilla wafers
1/3 cup pastel candy-coated chocolates
1/4 cup mini marshmallows or pastel sprinkles
Instructions
1. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk for about 2 minutes until it starts to thicken.
2. Stir in the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract until the pudding is smooth and creamy.
3. Refrigerate the pudding for 5 minutes so it can firm up slightly before layering.
4. Slice the bananas into even rounds and set out the vanilla wafer cookies.
5. Spoon a little pudding into the bottom of each of 6 dessert cups.
6. Add a layer of vanilla wafers and banana slices over the pudding.
7. Spoon more pudding on top to create a second creamy layer.
8. Finish each cup with whipped topping.
9. Sprinkle with crushed vanilla wafers and decorate with pastel candy-coated chocolates and mini marshmallows or sprinkles.
10. Chill the cups for 1 to 2 hours before serving for the best texture and flavor.
Notes
Do not assemble the cups too far in advance, or the bananas can start to brown and the cookies may become overly soft.
