Ingredients

1 sheet puff pastry, thawed

250 g ground pork sausage

1/4 cup breadcrumbs

2 tablespoons grated onion

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 egg yolk

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

1. In a large bowl, combine the ground sausage, breadcrumbs, onion, parsley, mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix just until combined.

2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut it in half lengthwise.

3. Divide the sausage mixture into two logs and place them down the center of each pastry strip.

4. Fold the pastry over the filling and seal the edges. Use a fork to crimp.

5. Slice each long roll into 4-5 pieces and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment.

6. Brush the tops with egg yolk for a golden finish.

7. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20–25 minutes until golden and fully cooked.
