Sticky, buttery, and drenched in sweet vanilla glaze, this monkey bread is a pull-apart classic you’ll want to make every weekend. With caramelized edges and gooey centers, it’s perfect for lazy mornings, holiday brunches, or dessert. Best of all, it’s quick and easy thanks to store-bought biscuit dough. Whether you’re looking for an easy recipe, a crowd-pleasing breakfast idea, or a cozy food idea, this dish checks every box.

Ingredients

2 cans refrigerated biscuit dough

1 cup granulated sugar

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1 cup unsalted butter

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup powdered sugar

2 tablespoons milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a bundt pan generously.

2. Cut biscuits into quarters.

3. Combine granulated sugar and cinnamon in a large zip-top bag.

4. Toss biscuit pieces in the cinnamon-sugar mix until fully coated.

5. Layer the coated dough in the bundt pan evenly.

6. In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar together until smooth.

7. Pour the butter-sugar mixture evenly over the biscuit pieces.

8. Bake for 35–40 minutes until puffed and golden brown.

9. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert onto a serving plate.

10. Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to create the glaze.

11. Drizzle glaze over the warm monkey bread and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra depth, try adding chopped pecans or walnuts between the layers.

Store leftovers in an airtight container and microwave briefly before serving to bring back the softness.
