Ingredients

1 pre-made or homemade pie crust

6 large eggs

1 cup milk (or half-and-half for a richer texture)

1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or your favorite)

1/2 cup cooked ham, bacon, or sausage (optional)

1/2 cup diced vegetables (bell peppers, onions, spinach, or mushrooms)

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

1/4 teaspoon paprika

1 tablespoon chopped green onions (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and pre-bake for 8 minutes.
  2. Cook any meats or vegetables if needed. Drain excess grease and set aside.
  3. Whisk together eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in a large bowl.
  4. Assemble the quiche by layering cooked meats and vegetables in the crust. Sprinkle cheese on top.
  5. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the fillings.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes until the center is set and the top is golden.
