Ingredients

For the Chicken:

2 boneless skinless chicken breasts

1 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp sesame oil

1 tsp chili powder

½ tsp smoked paprika

½ tsp garlic powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

For the Ramen Broth:

1 tbsp butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

½ tsp red pepper flakes

2 cups chicken broth

1 cup whole milk or half-and-half

½ cup heavy cream

2 tsp soy sauce

½ tsp miso paste (optional)

Salt, to taste

For the Noodles and Toppings:

2 packs ramen noodles

2 green onions, chopped

Chili oil or chili crisp (optional)


Instructions

  1. Marinate the Chicken: Combine soy sauce, sesame oil, chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Coat chicken and marinate 20 minutes (or up to 4 hours).
  2. Cook the Chicken: Grill or pan-sear chicken 5-6 mins per side until charred and cooked through. Let rest and slice.
  3. Make the Broth: In a pot, melt butter and sauté garlic and red pepper flakes. Add broth, milk, cream, soy sauce, and miso. Simmer for 5-7 mins. Season with salt.
  4. Cook Noodles: Boil noodles separately, drain, and set aside.
  5. Assemble: Divide noodles into bowls, pour broth over, top with sliced chicken, green onions, and chili oil.
