1 large egg
1 egg yolk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2.5 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon baking soda

1.5 cups chopped toasted pecans
1.5 cups powdered sugar
3 tablespoons maple syrup
1 to 2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
1. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until golden brown and fragrant. Let it cool slightly.
2. Toast pecans on a baking sheet at 350°F for 6–8 minutes. Let cool, then chop.
3. In a large bowl, mix browned butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Add egg, yolk, and vanilla; mix well.
