Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter (plus more for toasting bread)
2 cups cremini or button mushrooms, sliced
2 garlic cloves, minced

¼ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon chopped thyme (optional)
4 slices of sourdough bread
1 cup shredded mozzarella (or slices)

Instructions
