Ingredients
200 g steak (sirloin or ribeye)
250 g cheese-filled tortellini
1 cup heavy cream
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp butter
1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
Instructions
1. Heat a skillet over medium-high with olive oil and 1 tbsp butter.
2. Add steak bites and sear until browned on all sides. Season with salt, pepper, and half the garlic. Remove from pan.
3. In the same pan, add more olive oil if needed. Cook tortellini until lightly golden and warmed through.
4. Lower heat to medium. Add remaining butter and garlic. Cook until fragrant.
5. Pour in heavy cream. Simmer gently until slightly thickened.
6. Whisk in parmesan cheese until sauce is smooth.
7. Return steak to skillet. Stir everything together to coat in sauce.
8. Sprinkle with parsley and red pepper flakes. Serve hot.
Notes
For maximum flavor, let the steak rest for 5 minutes after searing before adding back to the skillet.
Add a splash of cream when reheating to keep the sauce smooth and creamy.
