1 pound ground beef (80/20)
2 tablespoons taco seasoning
0.25 cup water
8 taco shells (crunchy or soft)
1 cup shredded lettuce
1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
1 cup diced tomatoes
0.5 cup pickled red onions (optional)
1 cup guacamole or sliced avocados
Instructions
1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
2. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
3. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it apart, until fully browned. Drain excess fat.
