Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

6 corn tortillas

1/2 cup diced onion

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp taco seasoning

1 tbsp tomato paste

1/4 cup water

1 cup pico de gallo

1/2 cup sour cream

2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and arrange the tortillas on a baking sheet. Lightly brush with oil and bake for 5–7 minutes on each side until golden and crispy.

2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until browned. Drain excess fat.

3. Add garlic, taco seasoning, tomato paste, and water. Stir to combine and simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.

4. Remove the tostadas from the oven.

5. Spoon the seasoned beef onto each crispy tortilla.

6. Top with pico de gallo, sour cream, and fresh cilantro.

7. Serve warm with lime wedges if desired.

Notes

For crispier tortillas, bake directly on the oven rack or air fry for extra crunch.

You can prepare the beef mixture a day in advance and reheat before serving.
