Ingredients

8 oz ramen noodles or lo mein noodles

1 lb flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced

3 tbsp hoisin sauce

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)

1 tbsp sesame oil

2 tsp cornstarch

1 tbsp vegetable oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp fresh ginger, grated

1/2 cup red bell pepper, thinly sliced

1/2 cup carrots, julienned

3 stalks green onions, chopped

1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional garnish)


Instructions

  1. Cook noodles according to package instructions, rinse under cold water, and toss with sesame oil.
  2. Marinate sliced beef with 1 tbsp hoisin sauce, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp cornstarch, and sesame oil for 15 minutes.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk remaining hoisin sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), cornstarch, and 2 tbsp water.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over high heat. Sear beef for 2–4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, sauté garlic and ginger for 30 seconds. Add bell peppers and carrots. Stir-fry for 2–3 minutes.
  6. Return beef to skillet, add noodles, and pour sauce over. Toss to combine and heat through.
  7. Sprinkle chopped green onions and sesame seeds over the top.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
