Ingredients
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
12 oz smoked sausage, sliced into rounds
3 cups broccoli florets
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon sesame oil (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Honey Garlic Sauce
1/4 cup honey
3 tablespoons soy sauce (low sodium)
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 teaspoons water
Red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear sausage slices until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- Add broccoli and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until bright green and slightly tender. Remove and set aside.
- Add shrimp in a single layer. Cook 1-2 minutes per side until pink. Remove.
- Lower heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Add honey, soy sauce, and vinegar. Simmer 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in cornstarch slurry. Simmer until sauce thickens. Add pepper flakes if using.
