Ingredients

16 oz cream cheese, softened

1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

4 jalapenos, finely diced (seeds removed for less heat)

½ cup cooked bacon, finely chopped

¼ cup green onions, finely chopped

1 tsp garlic powder

½ tsp onion powder

½ tsp smoked paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 cup crispy bacon bits, for coating

½ cup extra shredded cheddar, for coating

2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped (optional, for garnish)

Crackers, pretzels, or vegetables, for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cheese Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, diced jalapenos, cooked bacon, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until smooth and well combined.
  2. Form the Cheese Ball: Transfer the mixture onto a sheet of plastic wrap. Shape it into a ball, wrap tightly, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow it to firm up.
  3. Add the Crunchy Coating: In a separate bowl, mix crispy bacon bits, extra shredded cheddar, and parsley. Unwrap the chilled cheese ball and roll it in the coating mixture, pressing gently to ensure it sticks.
  4. Serve and Enjoy: Place the coated cheese ball on a serving platter and surround it with your favorite dippers like crackers, pretzels, or fresh vegetables. Serve immediately or keep chilled until ready to enjoy.
