Ingredients

2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts

4 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)

8 ounces cream cheese

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

1. Place the chicken breasts into the slow cooker and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

2. Add cubed cream cheese over the chicken and pour in the heavy cream.

3. Cover and cook on low for 4–6 hours until chicken is fully cooked and tender.

4. Remove the chicken, shred it with forks, and return it to the crockpot.

5. Add broccoli and half the cheddar and mozzarella cheese. Stir to combine.

6. Top with the remaining cheese and cover again. Cook for 20–30 minutes until the broccoli is tender and the cheese is bubbly.

7. Serve hot with optional red pepper flakes and herbs.

Notes

Always shred the chicken before adding the broccoli to prevent overcooking the veggies.

For frozen broccoli, thaw first or extend cook time slightly at the end for even tenderness.
