Ingredients

400g linguine pasta

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

600g boneless skinless chicken breasts, cubed

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon lemon zest

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons chopped parsley

1/2 cup reserved pasta water


Instructions

1. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and season with salt, pepper, paprika, and lemon zest.

2. Heat olive oil and half the butter in a skillet over medium-high. Add chicken and sear until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

3. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.

4. Add lemon juice and let it simmer for about a minute.

5. Meanwhile, cook the linguine in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain.

6. Stir heavy cream into the garlic lemon butter sauce. Add Parmesan and stir until creamy.

7. Toss in the cooked linguine and use pasta water to adjust the sauce consistency if needed.

8. Return chicken to the skillet and toss everything together.

9. Garnish with parsley and serve hot with extra Parmesan if desired.
