Ingredients

2 pounds ground beef (80/20)

1 packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix

1 cup breadcrumbs

2 large eggs

3/4 cup milk

1/3 cup ketchup (plus more for glaze)

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

2 tablespoons chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet or loaf pan with parchment paper.

2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onion soup mix, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and parsley. Mix gently until just combined.

3. Shape mixture into a loaf on the baking sheet or in the loaf pan.

4. Spread a generous layer of ketchup on top for a glaze.

5. Bake for 55–60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.

6. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Don’t overmix the meat or the loaf will become tough.

You can use a mix of ground beef and ground turkey for a leaner option.
