Ingredients

1.5 lbs ground beef

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

4 oz cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup heavy cream

2 large eggs

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Optional: chopped pickles or jalapeños for topping


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9″ baking dish.
  2. In a skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat. Add onion and garlic; cook until soft.
  3. Stir in cream cheese until melted. Add heavy cream, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix well and remove from heat.
  4. In a bowl, whisk eggs. Slowly combine with the beef mixture.
  5. Spread the beef mixture in the prepared dish. Top with cheddar cheese and bacon.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until bubbly and golden. Let cool slightly before serving.
