Whether you’re searching for dinner ideas, quick meals, or pasta recipes that satisfy, this one’s a keeper.

Ingredients

1 lb chicken breast

8 oz bowtie pasta

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup heavy cream

2 tbsp butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp chopped parsley (fresh or 1 tbsp dried)

1 tsp red pepper flakes

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1 tbsp olive oil

1/2 cup reserved pasta water (as needed)

Instructions

1. Season diced chicken with salt, pepper, and olive oil. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook until golden brown and fully cooked. Set aside.

2. Boil bowtie pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain.

3. In the same skillet, melt butter and add minced garlic. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in mozzarella until smooth. Add red pepper flakes and parsley.

5. Return chicken to skillet, then add pasta. Stir to coat. Add pasta water as needed to loosen sauce.

6. Serve hot with extra parsley or mozzarella if desired.

Notes

Don’t overcook the pasta—keep it al dente so it holds up in the sauce.

Add a splash of milk or cream when reheating to keep it luscious.
