2 tablespoons unsalted butter (divided)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups chicken broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
12 oz wide egg noodles
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season chicken thighs with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter over medium-high. Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, scraping up any browned bits.
- Add egg noodles. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
