Ingredients
1 pound ribeye or sirloin steak
8 ounces fettuccine
4 ounces cream cheese
2 tablespoons honey
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon red chili flakes
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. Season steak with salt and pepper. In a hot skillet with olive oil and butter, sear steak on both sides until medium-rare. Set aside to rest.
2. In the same pan, reduce heat. Add butter and garlic, cooking until fragrant. Stir in honey and chili flakes. Simmer for 1-2 minutes.
3. Add heavy cream and cream cheese. Whisk until smooth. Stir in Parmesan and simmer until the sauce is creamy.
4. Add cooked fettuccine and sun-dried tomatoes to the sauce. Toss well to coat.
5. Slice the rested steak and layer on top of the pasta. Spoon sauce over and garnish as desired.
Notes
Resting the steak before slicing ensures juicy, tender slices every time.
If reheating leftovers, add a splash of cream or milk to maintain a silky sauce consistency.
