1 cup pomegranate arils

1 avocado sliced

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 garlic clove minced

1⁄4 cup olive oil

salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons brown sugar (for walnuts)

1 tablespoon water (for walnuts)


Instructions

1. In a jar, whisk together balsamic vinegar, maple syrup, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.

2. In a skillet over medium heat, toast walnuts with brown sugar and water until glossy. Let cool.
