Description

Looking for the perfect no-bake treat that’s fun, festive, and just the right mix of naughty and nice? These Reindeer Poop Treats are a hilarious and addictive snack everyone will be talking about. With crunchy almonds coated in melted chocolate and dusted in cocoa and powdered sugar, they’re a cheeky take on a classic chocolate-covered snack. Ideal for holiday gifting, party favors, or just a fun activity with kids. If you’re after a quick snack, easy dessert idea, or something playful for your holiday spread, this is the fun Christmas recipe you need.

Ingredients

1 cup whole almonds

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 teaspoon coconut oil (or butter)

2 tablespoons cocoa powder

2 tablespoons powdered sugar

Instructions

1. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.

2. Add the almonds to the melted chocolate and stir until well coated.

3. Use a fork or slotted spoon to transfer the coated almonds to a parchment-lined baking sheet.

4. Chill the tray in the fridge for 15 minutes until the chocolate hardens.

5. In a zip-top bag, combine cocoa powder and powdered sugar.

6. Add the chilled chocolate almonds to the bag and shake gently to coat.

7. Shake off any excess powder and serve or store in an airtight container.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon or cayenne to the cocoa-powder mix.

You can replace almonds with pecans, walnuts, or even crunchy cereal for a nut-free version.
