Ready in under 30 minutes, this Savory Garlic Butter Beef and Spinach Tortellini is the weeknight dinner you didn’t know you needed. It’s a one-pan comfort food miracle filled with cheesy tortellini, tender ground beef, and fresh spinach—all tossed in a rich garlic butter sauce. This easy recipe is perfect for busy nights, cozy weekend meals, or impressive dinners with minimal cleanup. Whether you’re after quick dinner ideas, easy pasta meals, or hearty food ideas for the family, this dish delivers on all fronts with flavor and simplicity.

Ingredients

9 oz cheese tortellini

1 lb ground beef

3 cloves garlic, minced

3 tbsp unsalted butter

3 cups fresh spinach

1/3 cup water or broth

1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved (optional)

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat and set aside.

2. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium-low heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

3. Add fresh tortellini and pour in water or broth. Cover and cook for 4–5 minutes until pasta is tender.

4. Stir in the spinach and cooked ground beef. Let the spinach wilt and combine everything well.

5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

6. Remove from heat and top with grated Parmesan before serving.

Notes

Don’t overcook the tortellini—it should be tender but still hold its shape.

Add a splash of cream for a richer sauce or a pinch of chili flakes for heat.
