Ingredients
200 g shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 cup broccoli florets, finely chopped
1/4 cup carrots, finely grated
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon cornstarch
24 wonton wrappers
Instructions
1. Finely chop the shrimp or pulse in a food processor until coarsely minced.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine shrimp, broccoli, carrots, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Mix well until sticky.
3. Place a wonton wrapper in your hand and spoon 1 teaspoon of filling into the center.
4. Wet the wrapper’s edges with water, then fold and pleat to seal. Repeat with remaining filling.
5. Line a steamer basket with parchment paper or cabbage leaves. Place dumplings with space between each.
6. Steam over simmering water for 6–8 minutes or until translucent and fully cooked.
7. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
You can substitute broccoli with finely chopped cabbage or spinach.
