Ingredients
5 pounds apples
1/2 cup maple syrup
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
1. Peel, core, and slice the apples.
2. Add apples to a slow cooker along with maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, vanilla, and salt. Stir to combine.
3. Cover and cook on LOW for 10 hours, until apples are very soft and dark.
4. Blend the mixture using an immersion blender or high-speed blender until smooth.
