Ingredients

1 25-ounce package cheese ravioli (frozen or refrigerated)

1 pound ground beef

3 cups marinara sauce

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup ricotta cheese (optional)

1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil or parsley (optional garnish)

Nonstick cooking spray


Instructions

1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked. Drain the excess fat.

2. Stir in marinara sauce and Italian seasoning.

3. Spray the inside of the slow cooker with nonstick spray.

4. Spread a layer of meat sauce on the bottom.

5. Add a layer of ravioli, then sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan on top.

6. Repeat layers until ingredients are used up, ending with a cheese layer.

7. Cover and cook on LOW for 4 to 5 hours, or until bubbly and the ravioli are tender.

8. Let rest 10–15 minutes before serving. Garnish with basil or parsley.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, skip the ground beef and layer in sautéed spinach and mushrooms.

Use a mix of ravioli types (cheese, spinach, meat) for flavor variety.
