Ingredients

1 box strawberry cake mix

3 eggs

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1 cup water

16 oz cream cheese

1/2 cup granulated sugar

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

20 Golden Oreos

1 cup freeze-dried strawberries

1/4 cup melted butter

Instructions

1. Preheat oven and prepare strawberry cake mix according to box directions. Divide into two 8-inch round pans and bake. Let cool.

2. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well. Pour into a springform pan and bake in a water bath at 325°F until set. Chill completely.

3. Crush Golden Oreos and freeze-dried strawberries in a food processor. Add melted butter and pulse to create the crumble topping.

4. Layer one strawberry cake, the chilled cheesecake, and then the second cake. Lightly frost sides and top.

5. Press strawberry crunch topping around the outside and top. Chill for 1 hour before serving.

Notes

This cake is best served chilled for clean, beautiful slices.

For a stronger strawberry flavor, add a tablespoon of strawberry gelatin to the cake mix.
