Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 bottle (18 oz) Sweet Baby Ray’s Barbecue Sauce

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp black pepper

Optional garnish: chopped parsley


Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of a slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix barbecue sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper.
  3. Pour the sauce evenly over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.
  5. Once cooked, shred chicken with two forks and stir into the sauce.
  6. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
