1 cup warm milk (110°F)

2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast

2 large eggs

4 ½ cups all-purpose flour

½ cup granulated sugar

1 tsp salt

⅓ cup unsalted butter, softened

⅔ cup brown sugar, packed

1 ½ tbsp ground cinnamon

For the Frosting:

4 oz cream cheese, softened

¼ cup unsalted butter, softened

1 ½ cups powdered sugar

½ tsp vanilla extract

Pinch of salt


Instructions

  1. Warm the milk to 110°F, sprinkle in yeast, and let sit until foamy (5–10 minutes).
  2. Mix in eggs, melted butter, sugar, and salt. Gradually add flour to form a soft dough.
  3. Knead until smooth and elastic (8–10 minutes by hand or 5–6 with stand mixer).
  4. Place in greased bowl, cover, and let rise 1–1.5 hours until doubled.
  5. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl for the filling.
  6. Roll dough into a 16×12-inch rectangle. Spread butter, then sprinkle cinnamon sugar.
  7. Roll up tightly from the long side. Slice into 12 rolls.
  8. Place in greased 9×13-inch pan. Cover and let rise 30–45 minutes.
  9. Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden.
